Always Running

A day comes when we must leave home
Like salt water in the veins, they say
Always running

I can’t explain it.
Not running from problems
From home
From self
Or
Family.

Leaving to find answers
To continue picking up the pieces
To live a life worth leading
With no regrets
and to come home one day.

Different now
More whole than present moment
Balanced, strong, capable, fearless
And whole.
