Easier, Softer Way

Grandma Says it’s time to make a choice,

To be a man of Faith
or not.

To stay trapped in the negative
or not.

She always makes it sound so simple,

She tells me to give things up to a higher power,
If you’ve done the footwork she says
If you’ve tried your best
It will all fall in place

She tells me that I am a good man,
That everyone makes mistakes

That now by his will be done
and all will be as should
Because what is ours already is
and what was never meant for us will not be missed

This a wisdom, like a rhythm
Like breathing
and the beggings of
Serenity.
An easier, softer way.

  1. Hi there! This post could not be written any better! Looking through this article reminds me of my previous roommate! He constantly kept preaching about this. I am going to send this article to him. Pretty sure he will have a very good read. Thanks for sharing! Tyne Robin Ornas
